Just a Fad

Years in total, complete silence
Showing not one sign of violence
Harboring adolescent fears
Trying so hard to hide those tears
Pent up anger and hidden hate
Ruin fortune and coming fate
Self-inflicted wounds leave scars
Gazing up at the bright stars
In the endless void we call space
Amuses your glazed ofver face
Wake up from your trauma of life
And will you please, please drop that knife?
No, your life cannot be that bad
Or is life just a passing fad?
