Tomorrow

Words running about in my head
Can't rest until I'm dead
Life keeps changing, way too fast
Words on paper are all that'll last
I can write of my love
From an angel sent from heaven above
But in a few years time
No one will believe my rhyme
They'll say no such being has blessed me
Until they fall, they'll never see
So I write of feelings we share, alone
Outside we're all strong as a stone
Inside we're crying like a child
We tell all that our problems are mild
While they are tearing us apart
Starting at the brain and ending with the heart
Life goes on, or so they say
And tomorrow is a new day
One day closer to the end
Our lives, too broken to mend
Tomorrow's just one day closer to the end
