WHY THE SAME HOTEL? The convention site search committee determined that this hotel offers the best value for our money with enough meeting rooms for all of our workshops and meals.

The room rate will remain the same ($98 + tax for a single, double or triple). If enough AAUW members spend one or two nights in the hotel we will not be charged for meeting rooms. Other hotels with the meeting room space we need charge for those rooms. If we have to pay for meeting rooms, the convention registration fee will increase.

Two restaurants, the Irish Pub and Heritage Grill, and a fast food service area with pizza, deli items, bottled water and water are on-site.

A central location and easy to find. We can't change the I-4 traffic but we can change Friday's starting time. We will suggest alternate routes where possible.

Other hotel amenities: coffee pot, hair dryer, iron, ironing board in rooms, voice mail, in-room TV checkout, non-smoking rooms, late checkout upon request, swimming pool, tennis court, gift shop, ATM machine and valet parking.

A very cooperative and helpful staff both before and during the convention. This is important to a smooth running convention!

P.S. We ended up paying for the meeting rooms this year because not enough hotel rooms were credited to AAUW. It's important to say you are with AAUW and pay the AAUW rate.
