Fall 2000 FloriVision
We Need You! For Director-at-Large

At the Florida AAUW Convention in April the membership voted to eliminate Clusters and establish Directors-at-Large. The primary function of the Directors will be communication between branch presidents and the state board. Each Director will be responsible for an assigned number of branch presidents.

The Directors-at-Large will be a support system in order to assist. They can share ideas for successful programs among branches. They can help identify potential leaders and encourage their development.

A big job? Yes, but a rewarding one if we can be more supportive of one another, share ideas, and increase our membership.

If YOU are willing to accept this responsibility, obtain an application from a member of the nominating committee: Synthia Fletcher (Daytona Beach), Bonnie Linclon (Ft. Myers). Alice Barrett (St. Petersburg), or Carol-Lynn Bevc (Seminole County). Or contact Barbara Knapp (Orlando/Winter Park) or Joan Borders (Central Brevard).

All applications are due November 15, 2000.
