Fall 2000 FloriVision
A New Look for Convention 2001

Sally Bailey and Doris Karlik, Convention Co-chairs

What will be different about Florida AAUW's Convention 2001? First, for the early arrivals we'll have a social hour proceeding the first session. Then, Friday's business session will begin later to eliminate traveling through Orlando during rush hour for most of us. Friday evening's main business will be the introduction of nominees for all elected board positions followed by their brief speeches.

Saturday's changed schedule will include voting for board members, one business session, one time period for workshops and an interactive, thought provoking group session for everyone. We'll still have the traditional LAF luncheon and banquet on Saturday.

Watch for the changes in Sunday's half-day schedule in the next FloriVision along with detailed information about the entire convention. In the meantime, save the weekend of April 27-29 so you can attend our 71st annual convention at the Sheraton Orlando North in Maitland. The hotel may be the same but the program will definitely have changes!
