Here
on this land
where the Lord made his covenant
with his people
where he came himself
to reveal his love
we learn from him
that his Word does not return
without having accomplished its purpose

Here
near the Cross of Jesus
the place where he draws all to himself
Mary his mother
quietly
and lovingly
prepares us

Love...
such is the challenge
that the Lord proposes
each day to our Carmel...
