The FSC once again showed its racing prowess at the 1998 BRSC Western Carnival in Aspen. With 21 of 23 eligible skiers participating in the race, the club again won the BRSC participation award. On an individual basis, these FSC skiers won the following BRSC awards:

FSC once again showed the BRSC what ski racing is all about at the 1998 Winterfest in Sunday River, Maine. Carl Ragland practically melted all the snow off the course as he took top honors as the fastest man on the mountain. His closest competitor was almost two seconds slower! Doug Dougherty also earned cudos as the fastest male in the 30-39 age category.
