Where NJ County Colleges Stand on Early Homeschool Admission

County College of MorrisTeenage homeschoolers are welcome to take regular, for credit, classes through the Challenger program. A basic skills test is administered. They will not do any remediation however.College for Kids & Teens is run through County College of Morris & offers classes for kids ages 9 - 18. Homeschool Fridays are classes open to homeschoolering children & parents.

Sussex County Community College is NOT particularly homeschool friendly. Although some people have managed to push their way in earlier, they prefer not to take any students under 16. They do offer Kids on Campus aimed at 4th - 7th graders.

Warren County Community College I received a letter from them in April of 2004. It seems to state that they do take homeschooled teenagers under their dual enrollment program. It also looks like they offer some programs for 7 - 12 yos in the summer. To see the letter, click on the links for page 1 or page 2. If you use Netscape, please be aware that the first page comes up in miniature. Just click on the letter again to make it come up full size.

If anyone can add their knowledge to this list, please e-mail so that I can post it!
