The Light Bulb
How many children with ADD does it take to change a light bulb?

Hey! Anyone want to ride bikes?
The light bulb was invented in 1879 by Thomas Alvin Edison.  The light bulb was improved in 1881 after Lewis Howard Latimer invented carbon filiment.
A light bulb works by making the atoms become excited and then return to the ground state.  To do this, two metal contacts are connected to an electrical circut.  The metal contact connect to two wires, which connect to the filiment.  The wirest are held by a glass mount.  And the bulb is filled with an inert gas.  A popular inert gas used is argon.  The electrical current moving through the filiment causes the atoms to heat up and become excited.  They then go back down to ground state, thus creating light.
