HISTORY OF THE FRIDAY NIGHT MIXED LEAGUE
The Friday Night Mixed League is celebrating it's 59th. season in 2004/2005.  Founded in 1946 as a mixed league it has remained that way throughout it's entire history.  Presented with a plaque by the A.B.C. for 50 years of continuous service to the sport of bowling the league members found out that the league was the second oldest active mixed league in the A.B.C.  The oldest league being from New York state and the second oldest league,(inactive), from the state of Wisconsin.

The league has survived over the years because they followed one simple rule.  We are a family and we care what happens to each other.  We have been through births and deaths, marriages and divorces, job successes and failures, and medical triumphs and
disappointments.  Through all this we stayed together.  We have had as many as five on a team and as few as three on a team.  Every league has experienced this.  The good ones rebound and continue.

The league would not be successful without members who love the sport.  Our league has new bowlers and some that have been around for years.  One bowler that bears mentioning is Helen Yedinak.  Helen bowled in our league for 40 + years before retiring due to health reasons.
