Friends of Coyle Creek
Coyle creek is a small, meandering waterway located in southern Pelham and forms an important component of the Welland River watershed. The last section of the creek constitutes an oasis of wild habitat in an otherwise increasingly developed area; the upper section of the creek runs through a golf course.

The thickly forested section of the creek is home to a rarity in southern Ontario, especially Niagara, a colony of beavers. The beaver, a truly remarkable and intelligent creature, which for centuries has been a symbol of Canada, deserves to be protected in this remaining haven of its once vast historic range in southern Ontario.

The friends of Coyle Creek is an organization dedicated to this end and the preservation of the natural environment of the area.
