Fryinator Overview

The Fryinator is a software product that calculates readability statistics for a given reading passage. Its use is originally intended for teachers using precision teaching methods to determine the grade level and overall difficulty of a specific reading passage.

The Fryinator calculates readability statistics based on the number of syllables, words, and sentences in the passage. These statistics can be used, via various formulas, to determine certian characteristics of the reading passage. (See the Features section for more information on what statistics are calculated.)
