Jonathan, at home in St. Cloud
Hello, and welcome to my site.  In describing myself, all I can say is that I'm a collection of all my past experiences.  I'm a bit of an artist, philosopher, intellect, writer, and generally an all-around working class American.  Also, I'm a politically-minded sort and follow news events often.  I call myself a libertarian on most issues.  I enjoy skiing, camping, travel, photography, sketch and most outdoor-type activities.  My father is a retired military/railroad worker and my mother, a registered nurse approaching retirement herself.  They raised me with two brothers and a sister as part of a devout Baptist home.  It also was and remains a large part of who I am today.

I was born in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1972 and was raised collectively in Colorado, Wyoming and -- again -- Minnesota.  I am the proud father of two older boys and one recent addition, Riley.  I was married as recently as October '05, and live now in a snug apartment in central Minnesota.

I also lived in Oregon for about three years.  I resided in the NE Portland area, commuted downtown and down Barbur Boulevard on the TriMet system there.  Pioneer Square and the Portland Rose Garden just west of the skyline is always interesting.  Multnomah Falls and the Pacific coast is also very memorable.  I miss it and plan to return someday.
