My name is Ryan Rosier and I created this website to raise awareness about our mission trip. Also going is fellow student Anthony Alvaro, my teacher Jeanina Butcher-Ice and her husband Jim, my teacher Diana Munza, Carol Hoffman, and trip organizers Brian Feldmeier and Jessica Schroer. Upon arriving in Honduras, we will be meeting up with David Logue, an American missionary who runs a boys home in Honduras, and Alana Neptune, an American missionary who attends college in Managua.
Activity Cost -------- ---- House $1600 each (we hope to build 2) Community Day $500 Ice Cream Social $200 Children's Home Repair Project $250 La Moskitia School Repair Project $250 Sponsorship for Student Schooling $50 a month Community Food Distribution $10 a bag (we hope to bless 250 families)**Our goal is to raise a minimum of $5000 to cover the cost of the above projects!**
(Our group is providing and packaging the items for the care packages to be distributed at the hospital.)
This area is an economically-depressed third world country, and the children and families desperately need our help! 100% of our donations are used to fund the projects that benefit these locals. (We are responsible for paying for our own food, shelter, and transportation on this mission.) If we do not raise enough money, some of these projects must be dropped. If more money is raised, additional projects will be added!
*To my friends and family, if you make a donation please send me an email at [email protected] so I can be sure that you receive something in the future!*
I'm sorry I haven't been able to post anything, the wifi here is very bad and spotty. Jessica can use her data to update her blog so you can follow the trip at http://jlschroer76.tumblr.com.
Also, here is a link to what has happened so far on our trip.
Thank you, and always remember...
