This is Syncrude, where I work

Up North in Ft. McMurray, the roads can get treacherous. One frosty morning a fellow employee called and asked, if it was ok to put Sand in the back of the Company Truck as the roads were slippery. Well this was done with a bit of imagination as when the truck returned, this is what I seen in the back. Whatever goes through peoples minds just from shovelling a bit of sand in the back of a truck, I don't know, but I had a wonderful chuckle

The colours of Autumn.

This was taken while I was hiking behind Abasand Hts.

The city has trails for walking in all areas, this is one of my favorite at MacDonald Island

The MacDonald Trail takes me to Scenes like this one along the Athabasca River

Looking up right from my deck

The Train use to go right through Ft. McMurray, It now stops at Lytton, just outside town, The tracks are gone but I take the ol route to reach a fishing spot on the Clearwater River

Getting Fallish on the Clearwater

The Fall storms can be attractive sometimes, or as you see in the next photo VERY Scarey

There is going to be a vicious storm
