Note:- Before any student can grade for a belt they must have a licence book from the C.M.A.A and a karate gi. Gradings are available every 3 months for students who have reached the correct stanard for the grading. The student must show that they have reached the required standard and have been training regularly for the required time for that belt. If a student is not at the required standard to grade then they can train for the next one in 3 months time. Student's that are of 3rd Kyu or above should be training twice a week. The intermediate 1st and 2nd Kyu grads are for students who train once a week. Pre-Shodan grading is an exam for students who are at Black Belt 1st Dan level, once they have passed this level they can then take the Association 1st Dan exam. |
