LIFE GOES ON.......

Living life has this uncanny way of being your greatest source of joy and your greatest source of pain. Even when you are at your happiest bitter twist manage to come your way. It can come simply in the form of an unexpected flat tire or as complex and tragic as an unexplained death in the family. Either way things just happen and seldom can we control them. I rattle around through life always trying to make sense out of it. Hoping in some way that by gaining understanding then some how I will have some kind of control over the joys and pains of living. The bitter sweet irony is realizing that I have no control and all I am left with is the knowledge of knowing that I don't know. I also have to openly admit that life scares the hell out of me and I am always trying to reconcile the bitter with the sweet, yet I could not imagine not being a part of the process. The process being that some times you live and you find yourself experience this unimaginable joy of giving birth to a child or you even try to do something new and you fail completely, finding yourself flat on your face. However part of that process is also realizing that despite all things you really are okay, If you just trust and wait for a little while. If you are really lucky you also realize that some times in order to appreciate the joys of life then you have to take the risk of experiencing the pains too. So I still don't understand life and all of the ups and downs scare the hell out of me, but I do appreciate the process and find comfort in knowing its okay to just trust in knowing that I don't know and that's okay.
