batfa started out as a joke.

honestly... as much as we seem like an actual hard-working group of musicians, the whole project started out with three people sitting around in an apartment in midtown anchorage, and a quiet boy in texas.

there was once a mighty band. they were hailed as breathtakingly present on the stage, and composed some of the most beautiful pieces to ever grace the reflective side of some memorex cd-r's. they were known as sevenstation.

as groundbreaking as sevenstation was, the members felt an urge to explore different styles and to reach out to different audiences. thus ben and the full affleck was born; when ash.hazard, ray, and mattz0r pulled away from their previous engagements with sevenstation to seek out ben affleck, and eventually relocate to austin, tx. texas was home to one, detrimental, aka brian. detrimental would come to be the mastermind behind the name. but a name such as ben and the full affleck is bound to have legal disputes associated with it.

so it became the bands objective to track down the elusive ben affleck in orer to ask permission to use his moniker and/or reputation as a gimmick to catapult them to the stardom they deserved.

unfortunately, ben affleck declined the use of his name, but that didnt stop those four defiant revolutionaries. they recorded what would become their first single in anchorage. and when Longing and Lost had found its way onto the internet, batfa began gaining popularity without even trying!

word of what had happened eventually got around to ben affleck. and he made it his mission to capitalize on the hard work of the four musicians. two hours before a show, in a brutal shoot-out in the parking lot of an apartment building on malibu street in anchorage, ray bravely took a bullet in the knee from a ben affleck bodyguard's gun and had to be flown to a knee specialist in portland.

and no one was around to replace him on stage... except for ben affleck

after a brief stint as drummer, ben affleck was kicked out of the band. he was a raving drunk, and had no place in such a seriously dedicated group.

ben and the full affleck are currently recording their first ep, and plan to release it in alaska and texas simultaneously. eventually, they will take over the world.

ben affleck is still bitter.
