My Original Poems
This page has a small collection of my poems or lyrics (I want to put the lyrics  to music someday).  I hope that you enjoy these "works"....even if they might confuse you quite a bit.
UNTITLED

Follow me into reality
Take my hand and I'll show you
How to see the world in crystal clarity

Are you ready for the truth?
Or will you shy away from me?
i'll give you just one chance
To join my vision
Ready to set the undertow
Of the sea of salty life

BUT, be alert of weaker swimmers
Because they'll drown at any moment
And drag you to the bottom
OF SHOES & ZEPPELIN T-SHIRTS

He walks in "style" in Goodwill Chuck Taylors
Screaming inside for a reason why he can't figure her out
She walked away without a word or feeling of disposition
He feels as used as his ragged shoes
And as worn as his old Zeppelin T-shirt
SHE WALKS

She walks in the sun
She sings in the snow
She dances in the moonlight
She teaches all she knows

I'll never be that girl
I just can't be that good
I'll never be like her
I thought you understood

She always makes the grade
She always gets the guy
She day always makes your day
I guess I'm not alive

I'll never be that girl
I just can't be that good
I'll never be like that
I thought you understood
END

Wonderous your beauty is
For I am overwhelmed
File all your fears away
And lock them in a safe
Grasping for eternity
You melt the face of all the wrong
And mold it into something new

[chorus]
Where do i go from here?
i wanna know, I wanna go away
Somewhere, I feel that I belong
That place I've lost inside of me

Although the soul is there
You never change as time goes by
But that isn't true for "wrong"
Its simple beauty fades away
To reveal an even stronger fear
That eats you alive inside
The cries are smothered my its wrath
For foolish pride you've lost

[chorus]

[bridge]
Now nothings left
But you ugly inner self
And you're lost inside the hell
That you've made

[chorus x 2]
VALENTINE'S DAY

Red roses deprived of their water
Year old chocolates wrapped in a bow
Lovers kissing in the hallway
Reminiscing over dreams once dreamt
Finding loneliness to be a bitter return
Tears shed over lost disire
Never feeling completely content
Until...
The roses, the water, the chocolates, the tears
All became a part of the past
When you knocked on my door
With a single red rose
And a handful of sweet candy hearts
