| sun sets behind the clouds, she raised her head to look at you, you pushed her down, and in a pool of tears she drowned, then she whispered without a sound. sun sets on blind eyes, chill you to the bone, leave you to die, and dream that you can fly, then call out but don't know why. sun sets, another candle out, she's bleeding, there's no one else for miles around, she's found, writing words upon the ground. sun sets like a candy drop, you turn away, but you can't stop, you know you've lost, crying for the life you've got. sun sets but it's so cold, the thing inside, the words you told, the sun is old, and whispers as her soul is sold. sun sets behind the clouds, she raised her head to look at you, you pushed her down, and in a pool of tears she drowned, and you think you heard her whisper, face down, she raised her head, and looked up dead, you've never known the words she said, you've never seen the sky so red, at sunset, sunset }to fade. |
