| These are a few bottles I have dug and purchased over the years. The majority of these bottles came from Jacksonville Florida from underneath the old Gator Bowl which is now the Altel Stadium, home of the JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS.A friend of mine pumped the concrete for the stadium,and when the footers were dug they exposed bottles from a dump from the late 1800's thru the early 1900's. There were all sorts of things found,bottles of all kinds, porcelain dolls and even porcilain motorcycle license plates (a matching set). The dump also provided us with some smooth sided Coca-Cola bottles,found in a seperate section around the southwest 40 yard line. Here are a few of the pictures,enjoy! |
