Cinderella

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there live a rich widowed gentleman and his beautiful daughter, Cinderella. Cinderella’s father married for the second time so that his daughter had a mother to care for her.

When Cinderella’s father died, her stepmother stopped pretending to like her. The stepmother and the two stepsisters were jealous of her charm and beauty so she was forced to become a servant in her own home. Her only friends, the birds and mice listened to her as she sang of her dreams of a life filled with love and happiness.
Not far away in the royal palace, the King and the Grand Duke were talking about the Prince. They plan a ball that night and invitations were sent out to every young maiden in the Kingdom.

Invitations were delivered to Cinderella’s house but her stepmother only allowed two stepsisters to attend the ball. Cinderella can only attend only if she has finished all the house work. Cinderella’s friends helped her to sew a nice dress, but still, she wasn’t able to make it to the palace.

Upset and disappointed, Cinderella was left crying when a swirl of light gathered around her, and an old lady appeared. She said that she was Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother. She asked Cinderella to fetch a pumpkin so that she can perform some miracles.

The Pumpkin was turned into a sparkling carriage and the mice were changed into proud, white horses.
Cinderella’s horse was turned into a coachman and Bruno the dog, into a footman.

Lastly, when Fairy Godmother waved her wand, Cinderella was dressed in magnificent ball gown and delicate glass slippers. Cinderella was reminded by the Fairy Godmother that the spell will be broken on the last stroke of midnight .

At the palace, the Prince saw Cinderella and thought she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He took Cinderella’s hands and led her to the dance floor. The Prince knew that he had finally fallen in love. Dancing in the Prince arms, Cinderella felt as though she was floating on the sir. Suddenly, the clock chimed. The first stroke of midnight ......
