On The KOP - The New Gallon of Magnet Fans Forum...
Here comes the latest feature on Gallon of Magnet
- The Fans Forum! There are currently a number of
Forums where Blades fans chat, but despite that
we fealt it was time for GOM to do what all popular
unofficial football sites do - introduce our own.
'
One The Kop' is the name of the new Forum and
we need all your help to turn it into a REAL Blades
community. As you can imagine, it is not full of
gossiping Bladesmen as yet but, with your help, it
can soon turn into a crowded place! The first
contributors are the most vital as they will entice others to join in! So get yourself

The Blades kicked off the 2006/07 Premiership season at Bramall Lane with a 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

Rob Hulse gave United the lead early in the second half with a towering header after David Unsworth's free-kick, but the Reds pulled level from the penalty spot after referee Rob Styles awarded a debatable penalty in their favour, which Robbie Fowler converted.!

Apologies for lack of recent updates! - Help us out!
Frequent visitors to Gallon of Magnet will be very well aware of a recent lack of updates to the site, and we would like to apologise for this. The main reasons behind this are quite simple - the site is run by just one person (me) and only has one other contributor (Joe, who writes When Sunday Comes). It is run as a hobby to try to keep all the online Blades fans updated and entertained on all things Sheffield United, and obviously is not a job of any sort.

I have recently started a new job, and therefore I've had little time on my hands to deal with Gallon of Magnet as much as I'd like to. This is a plea to all Blades fans out there to get yourself involved with this site, and help us keep it going! We need all the help we can get, you don't have to be a would-be journalist of any kind, just have a passion for writing (or any other contributions) about the Blades. So if you fancy having a go, or if you know anyone who might be interested, then let us know so that Gallon of Magnet can continue to be the number one unofficial Blades website. Email us at -
