The Blades are reportedly chasing the signature of both Crystal Palace's Mikele Leigertwood and Brighton's Colin Kazim-Richards, as they look to further-strengthen their squad for the Premiership. Leigertwood has been at Selhurst Park since 2001, first with Wimbledon before a transfer to Palace took place in 2004, but is yet to be offered a new deal by new manager Peter Taylor. Talks are expected to take place in the next few days and it is expected that a new deal will be offered, but Leigertwood could be lured away by the prospect of premiership football with the Blades, or Watford who are also chasing his signature. Meanwhile, ClubCall are reporting on an 'EXCLUSIVE' that Brighton's Colin Kazim-Richards could be set to complete a 'dream move to United'. Apparently, they understand that the Blades are considering a bid for the tricky winger, who was given the nickname 'Coca-Cola man' after he was signed with the prize money from the Coca-Cola win a player competition, from Bury. The 19-year-old scored 6 goals in 25 starts last season, one of which was at Bramall Lane. The Blades have also taken Zimbabwean international Esrom Nyandoro on trial, with a view to offering him a contract. Nyandoro has been recommended to Neil Warnock by former Zimbabwe winger and Blade Peter Ndlovu, and has won 'rookie of the year' award in his first season with current club Mamelodi Sundowns.
