Gas Firelogs
One of the most popular remote combinations is the APK-15M. The reason for it's popularity is it gives you the ability to control the height of the flame. The Pine Cone (included) helps cover the valve as not to detract from the appearance.
Another popular choice is the PC-105. It is a little difficult to see, but the bottom right side of the fireplace you can see a pine cone. That is the remote receiver.
If you are not into the remote scene, there is a manual valve available.
Note - Not pictured is the EPK-1M. It is an electronic ignition valve set-up that does not require a pilot be lit all of the time. The pilot comes on only when you turn on your fireplace.
