An extremely well known deity.
Anubis was supposidly the canine deity of the dead. He was associated with embalming and mummification.
He was usually depicted as a seated black dog or as a man with a the head of a jackel.
Myth has it, that it was Anubis who wrapped the body of the deceased Osiris.
Rayne Of Steel
He's also a deity, who was casted out of the sky above to rule over the humans. He gave them a time of peace and glory, and of course prosper...
But then the Sinspawn came; the world had to be united to fight... The humans who were gathered then lost; Rayne had to be protected... They melted some kind of steel and kept him in there for a million years... When he was set free, the world was once again at peace...
