Jean Paul's evolution is nearly complete. He won't wear his suit, because it will lead him into violence, and thanks to Leslie's instruction, if there's another less aggressive way, JP will find it.

It's yet another issue upon which he and Bruce disagree. Neither is altogether forthcoming in assisting the other. Bruce offers his help, stating that he has obligation but not jurisdiction. Jean Paul doesn't come out and say, "Yes! Please help me!" but seems to half-heartedly accept Bruce's help, merely because he's willing to give it.

Both men have come a long way from what they once were. A while back, Azrael became the "Agent Of The Bat", taking orders from Batman and carrying them out. Now, he's practically become his own man, and can function autonomously without his savant. It remains to be seen whether this will come to fruition, but with events as they are on the final page, and no powers for Jean Paul to use, that just might happen.

We've been told that a new direction for Azrael will take place, and what better time than with an anniversary issue, and the conclusion to Jean Paul's quest for self! But with the end of one quest, another one unfailingly begins. What new journey will Azrael find himself on? Let's wait and see what happens in Azrael #75, eh?
