With the recent completion of genomes of several organisms, the stage has now been set for making rapid progress in gene function discovery. Genomic studies will have extensive applications in drug discovery, diagnostics, gene therapy, cancer detection and cure and in general understanding how organisms "live". Such studies require computer resources not only for storing data but also for sequence analysis, and indeed the past few years have been marked with proliferation of a very large number of websites with sequence analysis software. At Genomesite no attempt has been made to provide links to all such websites, rather it strives to provide links to diverse resouces for genomic studies.
