Procedures/Activities


Step:  1 Duration: 15 minutes
Students will look at sample art works depicting the theme and criteria for this project. Discussion of what theme and criteria are will be emphasized as well as use of materials for effects (e.g. coloring in the same direction, light pencil lines, use of markers over crayon for batik-effect, etc.).

12 x 18 white drawing paper; crayons; markers; rulers.
