Time
So elusive is time.
Turn and its gone.
Years in the blink of an eye.
Fleeting, forever gone.
Take time, its freely given.
Touch a rose.
Smell a baby's neck.
Feel a breeze on your cheek.
Take time to listen.
Hug and kiss your child.
Hold your lovers hand.
Keep your aging mother close.
Listen to the hummingbird.
See butterfly wings flutter.
Taste a sunripe blackberry.
Feel the spring rain.
Spinning around.
Colors and scenes rushing by.
Feel the laughter rise in your throat.
Hear the wind carry it away.
Dry a friends tears.
Mourn a friend's passing.
Take time, its fleeting.
Take time, its freely given.
