GENERAL BIO:
Ryota Chikuzen debuted in Mexico in 1998, under a mask called SHIIBA, opposite one of Mexico's legends in Mil Mascaras. Chikuzen returned to Japan in 1999 in the Lucha Libre Japan indy group while also appearing in other small indies including KAGEKI. Chikuzen started in K-DOJO with a bang straight away, forming a team with YOSHIYA called the Chiba Port Towers, the name coming from a Chiba sight-seeing trip the two took and from the fact that they were big, tall and proud, the team staying together and picked up Joe Aoyama and Sambo Oishi along the way. His first claim to fame was entering NJPW under the Makai Mask #2, part of the rebel faction, Makai Club. After being forced to unmask after losing a match to Hiroshi Tanahashi, Chikuzen disappeared from NJPW and returned to K-DOJO full time. 2003 also saw him take the STRONGEST-K '03 tournament. In 2004, the Chiba Port Tower group officially disbanded around the same time as the majority of the older factions did and Chikuzen and TAKA Michinoku found great success as a team, winning tag titles but also, 2004 saw Chikuzen go back to NJPW for a short time, teaming in Katsuyori Shibata's team in an under 30 six man tag tournament. Come 2005, Chikuzen was drawn into the fight against Kinnoutou, first losing the STRONGEST-K Tag Team tournament finals to them, then the UWA & UWF Intercontinental Tag Titles, effectively sealing them. Finally, after losing a tag title challenge to Kinnoutou, Chikuzen turned on TAKA Michinoku and his GET colleagues and joined Kinnoutou, adding more power to their ranks. In 2006, Chikuzen has remained loyal to Kinnoutou, however in October, started a power struggle with KAZMA over who was the strongest in not only Kinnoutou, but K-DOJO (the two staying friends though for the time). His battles with KAZMA eventually caused an injury and kept Chikuzen on the shelf for a few months. Omega attempted to recruit him, but Chikuzen stayed loyal to K-DOJO and has joined the fight against the group and won the STRONGEST-K Tag titles with KAZMA from Omega.. He also had become a regular on NJPW's WrestleLand as Makai Masked Devilock. Big, powerful, very talented and very built, Chikuzen is one of the strongest, toughest and biggest threats to title holders in Kaientai Dojo
