Yusaku Obata is the latest trainee to debut in K-DOJO, debuting in July 2006. He had the opportunity to debut earlier, as during the 2006 Golden Week series, Kaji battled TAKA Michinoku in a set of dark matches in which TAKA held to regain fitness after injury. If Kaji won a match, he'd debut on the K-SPECIAL show after Golden Week. Kaji failed to win and was held back two months. Kaji was placed on the GET roster full time and hee found his first win in October 2006, pinning Bambi. Kaji started to grow and started racking up victories once other rookies debuted. He formed a team with Taku Anzawa, the two receiving a WEW Hardcore tag title shot as well, showing that his progress is starting to increase. Kaji gets very depressed when he loses, however does show lots of spirit in his matches. Only time will tell on seeing how far he goes.
