Another of Kaientai Dojo's Puerto Rico class, Kashiwa is certainly one of the major standouts. With his loud, rockstar-like gimmick, Kashiwa's charisma instantly gained him a cult support from the Kaientai Dojo faithful. In late 2003, the seeds for Kashiwa-gumi were formed when his team with Teppei Ishizaka started to find success, including winning the UWA & UWF Intercontinental tag team titles. After losing the belts, however, Kashiwa-gumi became more of a comedy unit, with himself, Ishizaka and Yuu Yamagata fighting with Apple Miyuki, DJ Nira, YOSHIYA and Ofune. Later on, Saburo Inematsu was initiated into the group. After the GET and RAVE split, Kashiwa gumi started to break up, with Inematsu and Yumagata succeeding the group by defeating Kashiwa and Ishizaka. After a long slump, Kashiwa started to regain old form in 2006, starting a default RAVE sekigun unit with MIYAWAKI and Ishizaka. Kashiwa stepped up, receiving title shots and even removing old friend Ishizaka from his group to make his team stronger. Fate turned for Kashiwa Gumi, with mistimed Mr.T attacks and slumps in form, MIYAWAKI left the group. At this point, Kashiwa formed KASHIWA DOJO, re-initiated Ishizaka and has since attempted (not very well though) to take over K-DOJO. Very charismatic and with the ability to back it up (when powder attacks aren't mistimed), Kashiwa is one of the more unpredictable fighters in K-DOJO.
