GENERAL BIO:
Always one of the premier wrestlers of Kaientai Dojo, Kengo Mashimo has established himself as one of Kaientai Dojo's aces. Mashimo started off in K-DOJO as a wrestler using a grappling style, finishing his opponents quickly by KO or TKO before starting a series with isami which Mashimo lost 3-1, but in doing so, won a lot of crowd support for his fire and spirit. Mashimo did not affiliate with any units in the early years, instead choosing to fight anyone. In 2004, he allied with Kunio Toshima and SUPER-X, but never officially making a faction. He also made it to the STRONGEST-K '04 finals that year. In 2005, under the guidance of former Far East Connection manager, 296, Kengo Mashimo formed a stable along with KAZMA called Kinnoutou and Kinnoutou started to dominate, eventually taking in Ryota Chikuzen & Kunio Toshima as well. Mashimo and KAZMA though were the most successful of the group, Mashimo going undefeated from the formation of Kinnoutou and did not drop a fall until well after he left the group,  along with winning the STRONGEST-K '05 tournament and becoming the firest ever STRONGEST-K Tag Team champion with KAZMA. After a very slow start in 2006 and a big internal Kinnoutou feud with Kunio Toshima, Mashimo found his breakthrough and became the first man to win the STRONGEST-K tournament twice and after his win, he left Kinnoutou and jumped to RAVE where he has been a lone wolf thus far. Finally, after two years of chasing, Mashimo finally gained K-DOJO's CHAMPION OF STRONGEST-K title and became the ace of the company. After joining RAVE, numerous factions tried to court Mashimo into joining them, however, none succeeded and Mashimo started a rival partnership with the newly unmasked Madoka, the two winning the 2007 STRONGEST-K Tag Team Tournament followed by a win in the GPWA's Differ Cup tournament before beginning a short feud with TAKA Michinoku which lead to a title match on TAKA's 15 Anniversary show which Mashimo won. Mashimo is also no stranger to big matches, having a strongly contested match with Jushin Thunder Liger in 2003, challenging for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title in 2004 (against Heat) along with wins in other companies such as BIG MOUTH LOUD. With hard strikes, solid mat work and a strong presence in the ring, Mashimo is one of the talents on the Japanese indy scene that given the opportunity, could go extremely far.
