GENERAL BIO:
Debuting in 1991 for Gran Hamada's UWF, TAKA didn't find his feet in the wrestling world until joining Michinoku Pro in 1993. Given the TAKA Michinoku name from The Great Sasuke, TAKA began making a name for himself with spirited showings in Michinoku Pro and in tournaments such as J-Cups. In the mid 90s, TAKA formed what could be considered one of the most famous rudo stables in Puroresu history, Kaientai DX along with Shoichi Funaki, Dick Togo, Shiryu & MEN'S Teioh. Kaientai DX ran rampant through Michinoku Pro, not only with pure rudo tactics but with great multi man matches as well. TAKA along with his other K-DX buddies were hired by the WWF in 1997/1998, TAKA finding success by winning the WWF Jr. Heavyweight Title. Kaientai DX didn't last long in the WWF, their most famous moment being threatening to cut off Val Venis' 'pee-pee'. Togo & Teioh left the WWF, leaving TAKA and Funaki to form the famous jobber tag team, Kaientai. Kaientai, though never finding any success on the winning level, gained a cult following during the "EVIL, INDEED' days of their WWF run, which was actually TAKA's final run in the WWF. TAKA before leaving however in 2000 had perhaps the biggest match of his career, challenging Triple H for the WWF World Heavyweight Title and almost caused one of the biggest upsets in wrestling history by coming close to defeating the champion. TAKA, who had formed K-DOJO in Puerto Rico brought it over to Japan in 2002 and resumed wrestling in K-DOJO and many other companies in Japan. TAKA mainly reserved himself for bigger shows in K-DOJO, but once Minoru Fujita & Silver Wolf left the group, he joined the rebel group F-WORDS in 2003. However, he didn't stay long as he quickly joined with Commissioner Nakamura to form Yoshida-ya, taking Daigoro Kashiwa with him from F-Words. Yoshida-ya ran strong through 2004, however broke up in late 2004 when a generation war broke out in K-DOJO. In 2003, TAKA formed Roughly Obsess and Destroy, a gaijin heel unit in AJPW along with Taiyo Kea. In January 2005, TAKA won both the CHAMPION OF STRONGEST-K and AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight titles from Kaz Hayashi and then finally making a Jr. Triple Crown by winning the Tohoku Jr. Heavyweight Title from The Great Sasuke. TAKA held the Triple Crown for almost 8 months before losing the AJPW Jr. Title to Shuji Kondo and then the STRONGEST-K to JOE. Since then, TAKA has taken young Taku Joetsu under his wing, renaming him TAKU Michinoku. TAKA & TAKU then went to recruit Tomoka Nakagawa, renaming her TOMO Michinoku and formed the Michinoku Brothers. Due to various injuries to TAKA & TOMO, the group didn't last long. TAKA & GET's war with Kinnoutou continued, but soon turned into a GET top 4 rivalry between TAKA, Toshima, KAZMA & Chikuzen when Kinnoutou diseolved, the four eventually coming together to fight off Omega. In RAVE, TAKA's alter-ego, Mr.T continues his powder attacking-ness with KASHIWA DOJO while outside of K-DOJO, TAKA reformed RO&D in NOAH (with mostly the same members due to AJPW cost cutting plus KAZMA) in April 2007.TAKA has taken part in many great matches in his career and brings the international star quality to Kaientai Dojo. TAKA is the heart of K-DOJO as without TAKA, K-DOJO would not be here today.
