K-METAL LEAGUE '06 (2006): TAKU Michinoku beat Yusaku Obata (13:20) with the Combine
GENERAL BIO:
Real name is Taku Anzawa and yes, he is the younger brother of former NJPW wrestler, Akiya Anzawa. Taku is one of the few K-DOJO stars who debuted in Japan as Taku Joetsu and stayed in a 'young lion' type role for a long duration. He left in 2004 to serve time in the army before returning in the same role he was in once he left. In 2005, Taku fought against Kinnoutou, mainly Ryota Chikuzen who was targetting the younger wrestlers. Slowly growing as a wrestler, Taku took part in a trial series against Apache Army wrestlers, eventually getting accepted after spirited performances. In 2006, he was taken under the wing of TAKA Michinoku and renamed TAKU Michinoku, finding his first success by winning the K-METAL LEAGUE '06, a pillar for boosting young talent. After winning the K-METAL league, TAKU formed the Michinoku Brothers with leader TAKA and TOMO Michinoku. Due to various injuries, the group did not last long and Taku began to wrestle under his real name. Taku began to fight up the ranks and has shown a lot of spirit and growth, taking part in the fight against Omega and forming an upstart team with Kaji Yamato. Taku is a young and spirited wrestler who is quickly becoming a fine young talent.
