YOSHIYA has always had the reputation as one major bad ass, being one of the tallest, heaviest in K-DOJO and specializing in hardcore matches. Yoshiya Yamashita (his real name) debuted in IWA Japan in 1997 and stayed there until becomming a free lancer a few years later. YOSHIYA though has spent a lot of his K-DOJO career as a tag team wrestler, having multiple shots and titles before finally winning in 2004 UWA & UWF Intercontinental Tag Titles with GENTARO. After losing the titles, YOSHIYA spent time torturing Kashiwa-gumi members and DJ Nira in short, random matches. In 2005, after losing a tag title shot with Chikuzen, he started a small feud with both Ofune and Apple Miyuki which saw him even lose to Miyuki before winning in a hardcore match. He took Miyuki under his wing, forming the Slum Lorse team which hunted tag gold, losing a STRONGEST-K Tag challenge but winning the vacated WEW Hardcore Tag Titles. In late 2006, YOSHIYA shocked everyone by turning on Apple Miyuki, costing them tag team gold in the process and forming and joining the new Omega rebel group and soon winning the STRONGEST-K Tag titles with fellow traitor, MIYAWAKI. YOSHIYA decided to take some time off, up to a year in July 2007, being stripped of the titles before his 10th anniversary match. Big, powerful and always dangerous, YOSHIYA is always a threat to anyone in K-DOJO, as well as the Apache Army who he also works for at times.
