JOHN FRED DUNN married Pearl Anna Dye, born 29 JAN 1894.  Pearl was the daughter of Olinthus Trippett (O.T.) Dye and Annie Ellen Harker.

The photo to the left is John Fred Dunn and Pearl Anna Dye.

They had the following children:

1. Irma Grace, was born 21 APR 1916 at Gann Valley, Buffalo, SD and died 05 JUL 2000 at Flandreau, Moody, SD.

Her family moved to Flandreau, Moody, SD in 1922 and she graduated Flandreau High School in 1934. She attended Madison Normal College for one year and taught country school at Hyde County and then in Moody County for five years.

Irma Grace married Orville Waxdahl 23 DEC 1939 at Flandreau and they farmed southeast of Flandreau. She was involved with music, including singing, and played the violin in the high school orchestra.

Irma Grace was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, WELCA, Lone Rock Ladies Club, a former member of Lone Rock Lutheran Church where she was church organist and choir director, and was a 4-H leader.

2. John Gordon, born 19 FEB 1917, died 1978.

3. Geraldine Emily, born 15 NOV 1919, died 1991.

4. Edmund barlow, born 08 APR 1922, lives at Apple Valley, MN and is the source for most of the Dye family information that I have.
