An animation
about the process of ceramics from a bag of clay to a sculpture
on a plinth. This process is shown through the ceravax characters
which can be seen in the gallery.
Disguised
as a bag of clay the ceravax characters wait until humans have
left the room before escaping and transforming into ceramic vacuum
cleaners to tidy up the studio floor. The process of ceramics
is then expained as the characters become glazed, fired and end
up as sculptures on a plynth.
The Storyboard
Movements
begin from inside the bag causing it to fall to the ground...
After a pause a knife
like shape peirces the bag and begins cutting the it open...
The clay then escapes from the bag...
Transforming
into a baby Ceravax...
Before zooming around
studio floor...
Meanwhile the tall
Ceravax is sweeping the floor.
Baby Ceravax
then crashes into a glaze bucket...
Causing the
glaze to splash on the tall ceravax making it very angry.
The Chase
begins and continues around the studio before...
The tall ceravax
stops to wipe his brow as the chase becomes too much.
Baby ceravax then
finds a place to hide...
and he decides to
climb in...
However tall ceravax
sees an oppertunity for revenge and locks the kiln door...
Before switching
the kiln on...
and firing
the baby ceravax inside.
When the firing
has finished the tall ceravax comes back, opens the door and
reveals the fired ceravax...
