1948 Kelloggs

Kelloggs produced four cards in 1948 that were to be cut outs. These are tough to find. These four cards are actually divided into two sets - three cards labeled as FC-9 depicting drawings of players demonstrating basketball skills of dribbling, and two passing cards - and one card labeled as C-12 depicting a drawing of a basketball player shooting a jump shot. The actual year of the C-12 is debatable. The cards should have preforated edges from being cut out from the package.

"The C-9 Kelloggs cards (the year is debateable). You see lots of All-Wheat cards of different subjects from the late 1940s into the 1950s. I've been told by a pretty confident Canadian card collector that the basketball cards are mostly from 1953." - Vintage Basketball Pat - sportscards.info.
