I have been happily married for 28 years and have three mostly grown children. For more that 20 years I worked as a delivery driver for different companies. I have delivered rental furniture, caskets, and countertops.
I was born and raised in San Diego, California. We moved to the midwest as the result of a job transfer for my wife.
I was diagnosed in 1986 with a kidney disease called Nephrotic Syndrome. I had my first kidney transplant at St. Louis University Hospital in 1991. It lasted for nine and a half years, and then I went back on dialysis for a couple of years until I received my second transplant at SLUH in October of 2002. I am currently on disability, but hope to return to work in the future.
