Eik to the Inventory of the Goods, Gear and Effects which belonged to the deceased
CHARLES GORDON of ABERGELDY at the time of his death which happened in the month of March last, Given up by Captain Peter Gordon now of Abergeldy eldest son of the said Defunct, Executor nominated to him by his deed of Division and Testament of date the Eighth day of February one thousand seven hundred and Eighty Three Under the protestations contained in the said original Inventory which was given up and confirmed upon the Seventeenth day of May Seventeen hundred and ninety six.

The said Peter Gordon, Executor nominate foresaid, gives up, Grants, and Confesses, that there was resting and
owing to the said Defunct at the time of his death, the sum of Fourteen pounds and Fifteen Shillings Sterling, and Interest thereof since due, contained in a Bill dated the twentieth day of May Seventeen hundred and ninety four (20th May 1794), drawn by James Gordon then in Spittal of Glenmuick, now in Tombreck upon & accepted by John Thow in Haugh, and John Donaldson in Lochside both in Glenesk, payable at Bartholday Seventeen hundred and Ninety Five; which bill was by the Drawer indorsed to the Defunct.

Item the sum of One pound five Shillings Stg. As the
expense of raising and executing Horning at the Defuncts instance against the said John Thow and John Donaldson on the foresaid Bill.

At Aberdeen the Sixteenth day of November Seventeen hundred and ninety seven years (16th November 1797) In presence of Arthur Dingwall Fordyce of Culsh Esquire Commissary of Aberdeen.

The Commissary foresaid ratifies, homologates and approves of the foregoing Inventory and Confirms the said Peter Gordon Executor nominate to the said Charles Gordon his father Conform to the foresaid deed of Division and Testament, Giving, Granting & Committing to him the said Peter Gordon full power of Intromission with the sums contained in the foregoing Inventory.
And has received JAMES GORDON in Tombreck as Cautioner for the said Executor that the same shall be made forthcoming to all parties having Interest as accords the Law: And the said Executor Binds and obliged himself his heirs and successors to free and relieve the said Cautioner of his Cautionery above written, and all that may follow thereon, and both the Executor and Cautioner hereby subject themselves to the Commissary of Aberdeen's jurisdiction in all matters and things relative to the said Executry. And in case they or either of them shall hereafter happen to reside without the said Commissary's jurisdiction then they affix the Commissary Clerks Office of Aberdeen as a domicil for laying on all Citations for them or either of them relative to the said Executry, which shall be as effectual as if given and delivered to themselves personally, and they living and residing within the Commissariot of Aberdeen.
