About Ladders

For those who already know what Team Ladder Spades is, then you already know the great fun we have when playing on a team or having our own Team.

For those of you who don't know,
Sit back and keep on reading and let us tell
you a little about being on Ladder's.

Team:

You play spades with a team that can have up to
25 players including the Team Captain who signs you up,  he/she also makes sure everyone gets along good and see's that any problems that you have are taken care of to the best of their ability.
How do team's climb the ladder?

All the teams that participate in this Ladder start at the bottom and try to climb their way to the #1 spot.

GKL's Ladder percentage
jump is 50%

Example:
If your team is ranked #100 and your team plays the #1 team
If your team win's that  match against the #1 team your team will go from #100 to #50 etc.

Why is it called Ladder?

We call it a "Ladder" because each team has a unique rank or "rung" that
represents their standing among other teams. The highest ranked team holds the #1 position.
Someone ranked #2 is ranked below
the #1 team. So, the goal is to "climb" the Ladder all the way to the top.
When you first join you are placed in the
   "Unranked" category of the Ladder.

You become "Ranked" after winning your first Ladder match. {Unranked teams can play each other and the winner becomes ranked at the bottom of the ladder.}

When you defeat a higher ranked team you move up half the distance between their rank and your own.

Your rank on the ladder does not go down if you lose a match unless your opponent is ranked DIRECTLY below you.

When other teams beat teams above you they can jump over your team and  your team will slide down.

The more active the Team the better!
Lets say your team is #20 a few hours ago when you last checked and if no one from your team has been playing in a while and if other team's under you win game's
they go up the ladder and they will
push your team down the ladder.

Its a lot of fun!
