Glacier Country Resort Ministries began in December of 1986 when Sue Brunke moved from Golden Gate Baptist Seminary to Whitefish, MT. Worship services began that summer at the West Glacier KOA Kampground. The following winter saw the beginning of skier's worship at the summit of the Big Mountain Ski Area. Both services are still being held during the appropriate season. In 1988, the staff of GCRM grew when Sue married Mike Hascall. Two daughters also became part of the staff as the years passed. After being a stay-at-home Mom for many years, Sue started working summer jobs in the West Glacier area and then started substitute teaching during the school year. Now she works full-time for the local school district from September to May and then for the KOA in West Glacier from June through August. The Hascall family is actively involved in North Valley Baptist Church in Columbia Falls, MT. |

The purpose of this ministry is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to all who need or desire to hear and also to provide opportunities for worship to those who are visiting or working in the awesome recreational areas given to us by our creator. In all we do, we seek to give all glory and praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our aim is to work toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission given in Matt. 28:20. Love is our motivation, the love first shown to us by God. His Word, the Holy Bible, is our guidebook and our source of knowledge and inspiration. |

Worship services are held at the summit of the Big Mountain from Christmas through Easter or the end of the season, whichever comes first. |

From mid-June through Labor Day, worship services are held every Sunday at the West Glacier KOA Kampground, near Glacier National Park. |
