Glenn Quinn was born in Dublin, Ireland on May 28, 1970. He grew up in Cabinteely, Co Dublin and played drums in local bands as a teenager. He also acted in local theater plays and attended Clonkeen College, a secondary school located in south county Dublin. In 1988, Glenn, his mother, Bernadette, and sisters, Sonya and Louisa, all moved to Long Beach, California. He worked a few odd jobs before he decided to try acting. He got his first part in the Richard Marx's music video "Satisfied". He got his first speaking part as a guest star on the television series "The Outsiders". His first feature film role came along in the movie "Shout", in which he starred opposite John Travolta and Gwyneth Paltrow. Quinn got this role accidentally when a talent scout just happened to see him and invited him to join the cast. Some of Glenn's fave things to do include outdoor and motor sports, like soccer, hiking and car racing (legally, of course). He also enjoys drumming, watching movies, playing pool, and hanging out at his club. Some of his favorite actors include Robert DeNiro, Edward Norton, Al Pacino, and Matt Dillion.


What he owns?

Glenn co-owns a club in LA called Goldfingers , based on the James Bond movie. He owns it with his dear friend and fellow Irishman, Mark Leddy, and lives a few blocks away.

Glenn Quinn passed away on December 3rd 2002. He is survived by his parents Bernadette and Murty, and his sisters Sonya and Louisa, not to mention his countless other family, friends and fans around the world. Glenn Martin Christopher Francis Quinn was 32 years old.
