King Ghidorah
King Ghidorah
(Ghidrah)
Showa

Height: 100 meters

Weight: 30,000 metric tons

Wingspan: 150 meters

Powers/Special Powers: Teeth, tail, wings, shockwaves, gravity beams (Ghidrah can control the gravitational power of his beams - meaning they can cause more damage), and can use his anti-gravity to fly in space.

History/Origin: First appeared in "Ghidrah, the three headed monster", after arriving inside a meteor. Upon release, Ghidrah launched an all out attack on planet Earth (Japan). The military was no match, not even Earth's guardian "Mothra" could stand up to the might of this fearsome beast. It was revealed by a martian that centuries ago, Ghidrah came down upon the skies of Mars - turning the "Red Planet" into what it is today. Now Earth will soon suffer the same fate...until Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra form an alliance, and send the space monster flying.

Ghidrah flew to Planet X, where the inhabitants of that planet uses their advance technology, and place the beast under their control. Later, Earth soon learns of Planet X, and form an un-likely alliance (Peace). But to prove their friendship, Earth allows Planet X to "burrow" Godzilla and Rodan, since they claim that Ghidrah is giving them trouble. Of course, Godzilla and Rodan come up with a draw with the space monster, and are left on Planet X. Until later, they're brought back to Earth - under Planet X's control. Soon, it is revealed that Ghidrah is under their control as well! Finally, their control over the monsters are broken, and Godzilla/Rodan fight Ghidrah to a draw (Who flies back to space).

Though its un-clear or not, if the Ghidrah that was sent by the Nebula Space Hunter was the same one, came to Earth with Gigan. They almost took over for another alien race, until Godzilla/Angilas stopped him.

In the year 1999, another alien race (Kilaks) inslaved the monsters of "Monster Island". Cities around the planet were leveled, until the humans finally broke their control. All seemed lost, until Ghidrah was the last weapon for the Kilaks. Ghidrah fought 9 monsters (Actually, only 4; 3 helped in the end) and was killed.

Ghidrah, the Showa version, truly is the destroyer of planets. More powerful then any Earth Kaiju, and probably still is lurking somewhere...out in space.

Fighting Power: *****

An intergalactic demon whose only purpose is eradicating all life on any planet; he's quite good at it. Ghidrah's signature weapon is electrical bolts of raw energy that can be discharged from all three mouths. While they had never seriously slain a kaiju, they still are potent weapons and are deadly when all three mouths let a rip. With his magnificent wingspan, Ghidrah is able to release strong shockwaves that can take out even a herd of kaiju in one foul swoop. Up close, it still is a living hell to try and bring him down. Constantly firing his electric bolts and snapping at whatever comes close enough with his jaws, Ghidrah is easily one of the most feared monsters Gigantis had ever faced. The only flaw the creature has is its arrogance. It truly believed it could tackle all of Earth's Monsters, especially the champions of Monster Island, who consisted of Gigantis, Anguirus and Gorosaurus. Such arrogance is what leads to Ghidrah's ultimate demise. But it's not enough to take his rating down.
King Ghidorah
(Ghidorah)
Heisei

Height: 140 meters

Weight: 70,000 metric tons

Wingspan: 175 meters

Powers/Special Powers: Teeth, wings, tails, shockwaves, gravity beams, and can survive for centuries without its head(s) and oxygen.

History/Origin: Created by people of the 23rd century, who went back in time with 3 Dorats (Dorats who are seperate entities), and replaced them with the Godzillasaur. Soon, H-Bomb test leveled the island, there by fusing the 3 Dorats into one HUGE monster. King Ghidorah soon attacked modern day Japan (1992) and proved to be superior then their armies. Until Godzilla is reborn and more powerful then ever. The two Daikaiju face off, where Godzilla is the victor. King Ghidorah barely escapes, with major injuries (His middle head was blasted off). For 200 years, King Ghidorah was lying on the ocean bottom, until people from the future took his body and re-modeled him into: Mecha King Ghidorah.

MKG of course, was piloted by a human, and was able to take Godzilla out of Tokyo, before the monster could destroy the rest of the city. MKG + Godzilla crashed into the sea and floated all the way to the bottom. Godzilla, of course, awakened and swam away, leaving MKG's body (The pilot escaped) rotting on the Ocean Floor. Though it's un-clear at what happened to the organic body, but the central mechanical head was later collected by G-Force, later using the advance technology from the future, and create Mecha Godzilla. But is it possible that G-Force still has the body somewhere? Or is it still lying there on the ocean floor? He was able to survive for over 200 years under water...one could ponder on the fact that he could still survive. Resting, waiting, plotting...

Fighting Power: ****

It was a tough decision, but even if King Ghidorah was facing a more powerful Godzilla than his Showa Incarnation, this version wasn't that impressive. Its gravity/electric beams are potent in their own right. With his incredible mass, King Ghidorah's massive wings can deliver huge sweeping winds that would carry a kaiju off its feet. It is true that with his huge body, King Ghidorah was winning against Godzilla before human intervention lead to his demise. Up close, King Ghidorah would use his heads to act like pythons, wrapping its long neck around an opponent's throat and constricting it. But with these things aside, King Ghidorah's wings are a huge weakness. Godzilla's ray succeeded in blasting right through one of them with ease. If a heightened beam that could match the output of energy Godzilla's released, hit one of King Ghidorah's heads then it would be a goner. But King Ghidorah can be given one good credit: it can live a very long time if not killed. His massive size is the only thing that truly saved him from receiving an average rating.
Grand Ghidorah
(1999)

Height: 60 meters

Weight: 50,000 tons

Wingspan: 100 meters

Powers/Special Powers: Gravity Beams, teeth, mind control, wing lasers, shockwaves, and flight.

History/Origin: Long ago, a space monster came to prehistoric Earth and wiped out the dinosaurs. Millions of years later, King Ghidorah returned to Earth, to absorb the energy of all the children. Not even Mothra Leo could stop him...Mothra had to travel back in time, and used all his power to destroy King Ghidorah's younger self. But during the combat, KG's tail was blasted off. Later, Mothra was placed inside a time chamber, where he would hibernate and gain power...KG was thought to be destroyed, but that one tail regenerated into the new King Ghidorah.

King Ghidorah continued his reign of terror, until Mothra returned from the past as Armor Mothra! Armor Mothra quickly vanquished King Ghidorah...but is it possible that there's another one somewhere out there in space?

Fighting Power: *****

The power this demon can unleash is staggering. Grand Ghidorah's gravity beams are powerful enough to reduce a building to rubble in seconds. The dragon can deploy anti-gravity whenever he wants, which can act as an emergency take off. It is acrobatic when flying through the air, able to catch up to even aerial kaiju capable of flying at speeds of Mach 15! When its taste for destruction heightens, Grand Ghidorah can deploy energy bolts from the tips of his wings to increase the damage ratio. Automatically, when projectiles attempt to plummet into his hide, energetic sabers is formed by using the light of the incoming projectiles and manifest into a visible barrier. If Grand Ghidorah spots one who he wants to torture mentally, the dragon can take control of their mind and make them do whatever he demands. When starving for a feast, Grand Ghidorah will create an organic dome and teleport living things inside, where they'd be broken down and later fed upon. Like his other incarnations, the only weakness Grand Ghidorah has is his arrogant psyche and facing an opponent who is far more powerful than he is in every category.
Keizer Ghidorah

Height: 140 meters

Weight: 100,000 tons

Powers: Mouths unleash powerful gravity beams that either shred its target or lift them up. Keizer Ghidorah is capable of manipulating the trajectories of his gravity beams. When its jaws have a victim caught in their hostile grips, Keizer Ghidorah will sap their energy. Keizer Ghidorah possesses un-parallel strength. Its feet are used to knock the wind out of opponents.

History: Godzilla had faced many obstacles in the past; fighting humanity, being trapped inside an icy prison, awakening only to engage a legion of monsters, and facing off against the malicious Monster X. All of those challenges pale in comparison to the 'Harbinger of Death', Keizer Ghidorah. Monster X had shed its shell and now there was only Ghidorah. Unaware of his foe's staggering power, Godzilla's dorsal spines flashed and the monster's maw parted. Godzilla's mighty atom beam was about to strike Keizer Ghidorah, but the deadly alien intervened with its gravity beams. For the first time, Godzilla's atomic blast was rendered inferior. Keizer Ghidorah's gravity beams overpowered Godzilla's ray, and struck Godzilla's face. Keizer Ghidorah proceeded to toy with Earth's most powerful monster. Keizer Ghidorah repeatedly used its gravity beams to drag, drop, and throw Godzilla against a variety of building structures. Finally, boredom eclipsed Keizer Ghidorah's toying ways and the diabolical creature's jaws tore into Godzilla. Keizer Ghidorah immediately sapped Godzilla of his energy. Had the battle lasted a few more minutes, Earth would've been reduced to a smoldering graveyard. Fate intervened, as the humans empowered Godzilla with the energy needed to overcome the juggernaut. Two of Keizer Ghidorah's heads were blown off. Godzilla manhandled Keizer Ghidorah shortly after. Eventually, Godzilla chucked Keizer Ghidorah thousands of feet into the air, where his scarlet beam pushed the three-headed demon into the stratosphere. There, Keizer Ghidorah's entire being was obliterated, its remains forced to drift around Earth's orbit for all eternity.

Fighting Power: ******

Personally, I'd prefer to engage SpaceGodzilla or Destoroyah. The fact that Keizer Ghidorah wields enough power to cripple even Godzilla is bad enough, but having a sick, demented personality to match is even worse. Keizer Ghidorah's gravity beams are incredibly painful and effective. They not only possess impressive penetrating power, but they're also capable of throwing opponents around like rag dolls. Keizer Ghidorah's dominion over gravity manipulation far exceeds SpaceGodzilla's. To make matters worse, Keizer Ghidorah has a large abundant of energy. They never faltered, not once. In short, Keizer Ghidorah might have borderline infinite energy. But surviving the gravity beams is only the beginning. They are similar to a squid's tentacles, designed to inflict pain but also pull them in for the kill. Keizer Ghidorah's jaws not only deliver a painful bite, but they possess the means of sapping their prey dry. Occasionally, Keizer Ghidorah would strike downed opponents with its foot to floor them. To put it bluntly, it's better to engage a nuclear explosion than fight Keizer Ghidorah. You at least have a better chance at dying a fast, painless death.
