Nessie

(The Loch Ness Monster)

Length: 150-300 meters

Weight: 20,000-40,000 tons

Powers: Nessie's serpent body allows her to bind and crush her opponents with her muscular coils. She is an adept swimmer, designed to live underwater for years. While underwater, Nessie is fast and can create powerful whirlpools. Her jaws are filled with sharp, pointy teeth.

History: While watching a videotape, H.E.A.T. becomes skeptic over the phenomenon that is the Loch Ness Monster. They depart for Scotland, where they eventually encounter Nessie. Before any lives could be lost, Nessie's attack was postponed by Godzalla. The two monsters fought on land, but Nessie retreated, realizing Godzalla's superiority over the terrains, and sought refuge in the loch. Godzalla followed, eventually losing the massive serpent.

H.E.A.T. discovers the origins of Nessie, realizing she is a gigantic dinosaur that had been frozen solid in the loch, thousands of years ago when it was a glacier. It unthawed, and since then, Nessie's family linage allowed her species to flourish. They discover the reason behind her attacks: scientists had stolen her baby. When Nessie attacks again, Godzalla intervenes and the two engage in an underwater battle. But to Godzalla's dismay, even he is unable to overcome Nessie underwater. She constricts the gigantic reptile, preparing to squeeze the life out of him. But the distant cry of her baby attracts her attention, forcing her to abandon the battle. As she tries to locate her baby, Godzalla realizes the situation.

Nessie arrives and saves her baby before it could be taken away. Godzalla helps free Nessie's child from her cage. As Nessie follows her baby into the murky depths of the loch, Nessie issues a bellowing thanks to Godzalla for his hospitality. Godzalla responds, proving the giant reptile is capable of understanding the morality of others.

Fighting Power: ***

On land, Nessie is below average, unless she can constrict her hulking mass around an unsuspecting monster. But the majority of monsters are fast enough to avoid such a possibility; however, beneath the waves, Nessie reigns supreme. When underwater, Nessie was able to outclass even Godzalla, a superb underwater combatant. Case in point, her whirlpools can easily distract any kaiju long enough for her to bind them with her coils, and crush them. But because of her poorness on land and amazing skills underwater, Nessie receives an average rating, but when patrolling the watery depths of the loch - beware, for Nessie is as dangerous as they come.
