Ever wonder how the Holstein cow got its spots? Well, it all started when a cow named Holstein was at the beach in the tropics. It was a really sunny day and this cow was very pale. So he thought that he could get a suntan today since it was such a sunny day. So he reached out to get his suntan lotion but when he turned over to reach for it, he accidentally squished the bottle and it squirt all over the place. Next thing he knew, he was covered with blotches of suntan lotion. Holstein was furious. He got up to clean up the mess but it so happened that a coconut directly above him started to fall. Holstein fell unconscious and he finally gained consciousness eight hours later. Well, Holstein didn't notice this but he had very dark suntans in areas here and there due to the blotches of suntan lotion. When Holstein returned to the wonderful world of cows, all the cows laughed at Holstein's new black spots. Holstein suffered a great deal of humiliation but the Holstein clan survived because a lot of homo sapiens (also known as the biggest threat to the entire living world) thought the new black and white spotted cows were just adorable. And as for the black or brown cows...they were mistaken for walking piles of dung.
