| Frozen in Time |

| "Frozen in time" was created from images I encountered on travels across western Canada and USA during winter months. You see an ancient grain seperator next to an abandoned farm house and an old utility shed completing the backdrop. Somewhere along the line, this farmer chose to replace his John Deere tractors with a Case, for some unknown reason. His 47 Studebaker truck rests next to his 50 Buick. If these vehicles could talk, what stories they could tell. Look at the rust speckled front end of the Buick and you will see that it served it's owner well for decades on a rough gravel country road. The utility of everything in the image tells of generations of hard working farmers who brought us our daily bread. Now the remnants of their life lies frozen in time. |
