Ink and pencil Art
A series of Riverboats built in Medicine Hat Alberta in the late 1800's. They were used primarily to transport goods via the western river system from Ontario to Calgary and Lethbridge. I did these around 1980 in pen and ink.
This pen and ink drawing was commisioned by the Medicine Hat Historical Society around 1981. The "Woolfrey Homestead" was one of the original settlements in Medicine Hat. The house was relocated in 1981 to the present location at Echodale Park.
